Why I Do This
Mortgage lending isn't new to me. Before the 2008 market collapse, I spent four years as a loan officer at the largest direct lender in Nevada — working out of Las Vegas, in the busiest branch in the state. I learned this industry fast, in one of the most competitive real estate markets in the country.
When the market collapsed, I pivoted completely. My wife and I built a fitness company from the ground up — starting with boot camps and growing into full sports performance coaching over the next 20 years. We worked with everyone from everyday people to professional athletes. It taught me things no mortgage class ever could: how to motivate people, how to coach them through hard decisions, and how to build relationships that genuinely last.
In 2022, we traded the bright lights of Las Vegas for something we'd been chasing for a while — a slower pace, wide-open space, and real community. East Tennessee checked every box. Maryville felt like home almost immediately.
Getting licensed again in 2025 felt like coming full circle. I brought everything I built over 20 years — the entrepreneurship, the coaching, the relationships — back into the mortgage world. The same drive I used to inspire athletes to reach their peak, I now channel into helping families and investors achieve one of the biggest goals of their lives: owning a home.
